Who Is He?

Marcos Lujan

Marcos brings a wide range of visual communication experience and versatility to his work. His philosophy is that concept and purpose are paramount, and from that, all other visual and aesthetic choices will work harmoniously and result in an effective final product. His approach to design involves identifying the problem, formulating a concept and analyzing possible solutions from different angles.


He has worked in a variety of industries including television news, university research and visual design, electronic medical records, business process outsourcing, and state agency communications. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in graphic design from the University of Texas at El Paso and a Master of Science in graphic information technology from Arizona State University.


A longtime musician, composer, and recording enthusiast, he is also available for collaboration and playing on music projects (see Music page).


He finds inspiration in surreal art and photography, epic literature, creative filmmaking, cinematic rock, film music, and travel.
